Photography in Azores — Hugo Mendes

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of photography services and photo tours offered by Photography in Azores. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.

2. Services Provided

  • Private photo tours and photography sessions in São Miguel, Azores.

  • Optional add-ons such as drone footage or flash photography, when available.

  • Pick-up service from agreed locations, when included in the package.

3. Bookings & Payments

  • A booking is confirmed only after a deposit or full payment, as agreed.

  • The remaining balance (if any) is due on or before the day of the session.

  • Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled session will be refunded in full (minus any payment processing fees).

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session may result in loss of deposit.

  • Sessions may be rescheduled in case of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Weather Policy

The Azores are known for fast-changing weather. The photographer will adapt the itinerary to maximise good light and conditions. If weather conditions make the session unsafe or impossible, the tour may be rescheduled or refunded.

6. Image Delivery & Usage

  • Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within the agreed timeframe.

  • Clients may use the images for personal purposes (social media, printing, etc.).

  • Commercial use requires prior written consent from Photography in Azores by Hugo Mendes.

  • The photographer retains copyright and may use the images for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure safety, Photography in Azores is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

  • Clients are responsible for their own travel insurance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ponta Delgada, Azores.
